The Glyn Valley Tramway operated from 1873 as a narrow gauge line from Glyn Cerriog quarry to Chirk main line station.
There are plans to resurect part of the line, to run steam trains for visitors. . . This might take a few years to happen.
In the meantime, please find the stone-built geocache as you tour Chirk, the Tramway, and the Castle.
Please note that the cache is NOT within the bounds of Chirk main line station.
Someone mentioned a smell of Cocoa. That is from the Cadbury factory. if you smell pine wood,
that is from CronoSpan, who are the largest wood-chip-board makers in Europe.
