Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events.
We will be hosting our second CITO of 2022 at Orchards Park in Vancouver, WA.
This 33-acre park features a variety of amenities, included forested picnicking areas and walking trails, open lawn areas for pick-up games and active play areas. The park also includes a rose garden sponsored by the East Vancouver Rotary Club.
This is a park clean up effort where we will focus on trash removal. We have organized this event with Clark County Wa. Parks and Recreation. They require you to sign a liability form. We will have gloves, trash bags, and trash grabbers available but if you have your own your are encouraged to bring them.
PLEASE no open toed shoes and wear long pants.
We will meet at 1:00 pm where we'll sign the logbook, have some brief socalizing time, and make sure waivers are signed.
At 2:30pm we will meet back up and gather our trash up and take a group photo.
2:45pm We will have a general raffle for ALL attending and a special WSGA raffle for members.
