Hattiesburg GeoTour
With more than 40 geocache hides to find, Hattiesburg offers one of only 100 active official GeoTours worldwide. Presented by VisitHATTIESBURG, the Hattiesburg GeoTour is the first of its kind in Mississippi. Locate a minimum of 35 of the GeoTour caches and turn in your completed passport to receive your official Hattiesburg GeoTour Geocoin!
Cache Location
Home to more than 100 animals including Wallabies, Golden Eagles, Tigers, Zebras, a family of Sloths,and the newest residents, mother and daughter Giraffes, Sue Ellen and Alberta, the Hattiesburg Zoo offers a day-long adventure of fun. For a walk on the wild side, hop aboard the new electric train, on the themed carousel, or high on the ropes course. Cool off with a Pineapple Dole Whip, Pop’s Brothers Popsicle, or in the Zoo’s splash pad.
The Hide
The cache is an ammo can custom-painted by local artist/muralist Gabby Smith hidden a little sneakily but easily reachable if you limber up first.
