THIS spot still has lots of felines around it so the name was purrrrfect for the location, and ties in beautifully with my "Father of our Country Series" , this hide being the third cache of the series to date. Many more to come. Alexandria, my former home, and now my daughter's, is a place I return to often and dearly love. The history, shopping, restaurants, and weather are a few of the many reasons I love this city. I also love gardening, and if you find this cache you will see the connection to both plants and cats. Do not pass up the chance to learn about our first President either. The Masonic Temple is less than a mile away and if you take the tour, the view from the top gives you a vantage point of all D.C., and a good deal of both Virginiia and Maryland. Not to be missed. Mount Vernon is just a few miles south, and a lovely drive along the Potomac. Amazing. Be sure to grab the other Father of Our Country Series......hopefully with many more to come. This town is full of history. Every street corner offers another opportunity to learn more about the birth of our great country. As always, have fun, be respectful, bring your own pen, and watch for muggles. Peace and God Bless America! ___Marie0317
