Welcome to the Shining Sea Bikepath in Falmouth, Massachusetts!
The Shining Sea Bikeway extends the length of Falmouth and brings you through some of the most beautiful spots in this beloved resort town. The Shining Sea is a 10.7 mile flat, paved rail trail that stops by beaches, cranberry bogs, harbors, swamps, fields, and the unique town of Woods Hole. From Woods hole you can check out the aquarium, historic marine biology buildings, restaurants, ice cream and candy shops. The steamship authority also offers trips by seat, bike or car to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket by regular or fast ferry. So pack your sunscreen, water bottles, helmet, and pen and enjoy the ride!!
