The South Hutchinson Nature Trail is a path amidst the brush and fields, tied in with the paved sidewalks that take you over to the paved bike path along South Main Street. You could make a loop out of this and the bike path if you are looking to make the entire trek. The northernmost section of trail is still pretty rough, the middle section is paved and the southernmost is fine, crushed limestone.
The trail is accessible from several points along the west end of town, but the easiest way to get to the cache location is via the nearby Reno County Veterans Memorial & Salt Discovery Well, which provides parking as well as its own unique cache. From there, the path entrance is a short walk west down Des Moines Ave.
The cache is some 40 meters into the trail, and is directly accessible from the path. You are looking for a small silver capsule, roughly the size of a chapstick tube. Bring your writing utensils and be courteous to others on the trail.
