Totally Findable Tourist Caches

Welcome to Sydney
This series of geocaches is designed primarily with visitors to Sydney in mind who may have limited time and transport options and want a quick and easy find while out enjoying some sightseeing around this beautiful city.
All cache containers will be one of three types; a flat magnetic key case (MKC), a round film canister (FC or MFC for magnetic) or a fake rock (FR).
The hint will indicate the type of container used and will be very specific to help you find the cache easily. If you want a challenge to find this cache and don't wish to know exactly where it's hidden, do not look at the hint.
At each location you’ll be given some information about the site you are visiting.
Enjoy!

Sydney Harbour is one of the world’s most beautiful ports of call for cruise ships. There are two dedicated cruise passenger terminals on the sparkling blue harbour near the city centre – the Overseas Passenger Terminal here at Circular Quay and the White Bay Cruise Terminal at Rozelle.
Whether arriving or departing, you can marvel at Australia’s famous icons of the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You will also glide past the famous Sydney Heads, the dramatic sandstone cliffs at the entrance to the harbour, which is also known as Port Jackson.
In 1960, the first vessel to dock at the newly opened Overseas Passenger Terminal was the SS Oriana on her maiden voyage.

The largest cruise ship to dock at the Overseas Passenger Terminal is Ovation of the Seas.

As cruising has become more popular, particularly among Australians, more and more cruise ships were visiting Sydney. Unfortunately, because of the global Covid pandemic in recent times, the cruising industry as a whole has suffered greatly.
