Champion Ridge was a disc golf course located between the Commuter East parking lots on the Mississippi State Campus and the Campus Trails apartment complex. Since its closure around 2018, a new road has been constructed through the area, Bulldog Way, opened in early 2022. This new street closely follows parallel to the route from holes 1 and 2 of the old course and continues up to connect with Blackjack Road.
About a quarter mile south of the intersection between East Lee Boulevard and Bulldog Way lies a railroad tie bridge, visible from the new sidewalk. Across this bridge begins a trail through the wooded section behind the Commuter East parking lot near McKee Hall. Following this trail leads down to the southernmost corner of the parking lot, where the pad for hole 4 used to stand. The cache is hidden along this wooded trail.
