Strawberry Fields Forever

Hi guys! We've been invited by "Environment Ian" to join local volunteers in helping to clear up Midsummer Common after the Strawberry Fair, which will happen the day before this CITO. The main task will be a litter pick of the common. 

We’ll meet at the published coordinates, (just across the road from Midsummer Common, at the Wesley Methodist Church) and sign the log, then cross over to the Common and meet "Environment Ian" at HQ. We'll then litter pick until around 1130hrs. (If you want to stay longer, he is there until Tuesday - and a large amount of litter on the Common is expected.)

IMPORTANT:

...so we have an idea of numbers and you will receive any updates to proceedings. Experience has shown this is often the case!

How

"Environment Ian" has said that all equipment will be provided, and he will be on hand to provide any guidance required. If you would like to bring your own gloves / litter picker, etc., please feel free. 

There will be appropriate tasks for almost any ability level.

Health and Safety

All health and safety rules apply. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
