This geocache is located at the enterance of the Sauk Pairie Recreational Area formally known as the Badger Ammunition plant.
This is on DNR property and placed with permission by James Carter.
The building as you enter is the museum and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 pm. Verlon is the volunteer who runs the museum and once was an employee when the plant was operational. He is a great source of knowledge and stories. I highly recommend you stop and take a look around.
