CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES
Location: Cache is available from Dawn to Dusk. Do not visit at night. There is parking available. Be mindful of the horse trailers that are often parked and the leeway they need. The road to the parking is not paved but you do not need a special vehicle to get there. This cache is in the Wolf River Environmental Restoration Greenway trail system. You can hike, bike, and ride horses in this spot. Depending on the path you take, you'll see river, creeks, swamp, sand beaches, and thickets of evergreen. You may encoutner critters, bugs, thorns, poison ivy, horses, horse plops, scat... but the trails will be kind to you as you seek the caches!
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY WHEN HUNTING ANY CACHE.
Be careful and have fun!
Looking for DOVE: Once upon a time, there was a challenging cache called JayBirder's Roost GC209W3. Ten years ago, our family spent many fun days following this trail in search of the Dove. JayBirder placed many caches developed from his hobby of bird watching... Songbirds, Hawks, Waterfowl, Forest birds and wading birds frequent this area. In performing cache maintenance after adoption, we discovered sadly the first stage with the Dove went missing! So you must search for the missing Mourning Dove and your journey starts here! This cache is not at the listed coordinates. To begin your quest to find the Dove, you must first visit Ode to JayBirder GC9RT5T. The Ode to JayBirder cache includes a field puzzle that will lead you in the right direction for stage 1 of this multi cache. Your quest will end with an ammo can with swag, a FTF prize, and a final clue to the location of the Lost Dove.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
