Cache #4 on the 10 yr 2022 Waukesha Road Rally
Cache is east of the parking area off of Hwy DT. This cache reminds me of my 6 year old son, JrOle, who loves trains. It also is a link to the history of this trail, which was once a railroad. The Glacial Drumlin trail opened in 1986 which means these ties have been here for nearly 4 decades.
This parking spot was where the first yarnbomb on the original road rally in 2012 was. Cache #3 on that original Road Rally is also here. It is the only cache still original, including the cache camo and container from that 10 cache road rally. If you have a chance to find them both, you should. RR3 - Separate Ways is one of my favorite caches I've hid and it doesn't any love because its a "puzzle" and its camo has gotten better, thus harder, over the years. I'll give you a big hint to avoid the letterbox to the southeast and go west from parking to find that cache.
The Glacial Drumlin trail is managed by the Wisconsin DNR - Geocache placement notification form sent to DNR land manager
