This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Alawoona. The building was erected in 1934 from local limestone. The final service was held in the early 1990s, before the church was deconsecrated in 1995. The building has been sold and converted to a private residence.
The foundation stone can be seen from the footpath. Check the date the stone was laid, AB July 1934, to work out the location of the nearby cache.
