And so we come to the end of the Dove Explorer Trail. The great village of Marchington has much to offer you: an excellent kids recreation & picnic area, a play park, two pubs, a community shop, and quite a few interesting geocaches along the footpaths.
After you have explored the village you have several choices:
a) take the 'Moist Caching' trail back to Uttoxeter,
b) take the 'Long March' trail onwards to Hanbury and then Tutbury,
c) catch the 402 bus from outside the Bull's Head pub to get back.
We hope you've enjoyed the trail and will let others know about it.
This geocaching trail was laid in conjunction with the landowners along the route, the local councils, the "Transforming the Trent Valley" organisation, and the West Midlands Mega Crew. It was placed by the SOS group of Staffordshire Cachers.
