Join us for the GEOCKY Summer 2022 Paddle Mix at Wilgreen Lake!
Wilgreen Lake is located just outside of Richmond, in Madison County, Kentucky. This lake is 141 acres in size and was built in 1966. It is an idle-speed-only lake and is a popular local fishing destination (fish inlcude largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, green sunfish, white crappie, channel catfish, white sucker and common carp), as well as a popular kayaking and canoeing destination.
Let's meet near the boat ramp at 8:30 a.m. to sign the log (optional) and meet fellow paddle mixers. We'll have some breakfast items available and a few giveaways. There will also be a custom event giveaway for the first 20 cachers who show up. We will have around 40 paddle hides around the lake. Please remember to bring plenty of water and pack a lunch if you are paddling. Also don't forget sunscreen! At 9:00 a.m. we'll head out on the water. You don't have to paddle to attend the event - it is open to anyone wanting to attend.
