The Rotorua lakes are a hugely popular tourist destination and its not hard to see why after you have visited five of the lakes on this short adventure lab tour. There are 11 larger lakes in the district and 7 smaller lakes, each with their own character and points of interest. Trout fishing, swimming, boating, and sailing are all possible on these lakes (except the privately owned Green Lake). This short tour takes you to four of my favourite swimming spots from my childhood in Rotorua and past a lake of cultural significance to local iwi Te Arawa.
Gather up the bonus codes (A-E) at each of the five adventure lab stages after you answer each question. Then do the calculations below and head off to find the cache hidden near the Blue Lake (Tikitapu).
