Geocache Description:

Chryston Parish Church was built in 1878, on the original site of the Chapel of Ease erected in 1780. The graveyard was established in 1826. The church clock was installed in 1884. The stained glass wheel window to the east was gifted by Mrs Agnes Kaye Gray, in memory of Robert Kaye of Millbrae and her mother Bertha Aitken.

The total cost of the church and contents was £3,920 and it was officially opened on 4 August 1878.

Chryston Parish Church is one of the few remaining 19th century buildings of note in this small village and acts as a distinctive landmark to the area.
