Geocache Description:

Between the Uenohara IC and Dangozaka of the Chuo Expressway, a road that was abandoned due to road repairs of the Chuo Expressway still remains today.
Immediately after the opening of the expressway, there were many accidents due to its tight curves and steep descent, especially when traveling from Yamanashi to Tokyo.
The highway has been renovated and the curves have been changed to be more gradual.
There is a small Inari shrine built on the land between the old road and the current highway overlooking the restrains.
It appears that the shrine was originally located elsewhere, but a sign at the Inari Shrine states that it was moved when the highway was renovated.

The road that is now no longer shared remains intact, and part of the Uenohara side of the road can be accessed from a parallel city street.
There are also stairs leading up to the Inari Shrine from a narrow path that goes under the highway, which was not accessible before.

The cache is located at the top of these stairs.
It is micro in size.
Please bring a pen.
