This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.
A little history Clare Presbyterian Church has a former site now, but the origional congretaion comprised of Scotish businessmen & trades people. Highlander shepherds & dyke builders settled in Clare Bringing Presbyterian beliefs. First Minister Wiiliam Davidson. newly Ordained Robert Mitchell. The Church flourished for many years. so for almost 120 years men women children "worshipped, work, gave" in support of church, influence extended throuhout the mid & far North regions of south Australia. But with declining number in Presbyterians worshippers the Presbyterians joined The Clare uniting Church & with the church building also needed alot of maintainance but it was demolished in 1983. Artefacts from the Presbyterian are still used today in the clare Uniting Church.
