Geocache Description:

    Cylchdaith Celc Gogledd Gwynedd

Pan pobl yn meddwl o fynd am dro yng Ngwynedd, mae nhw'n wreithiol yn meddwl o Eryri, dringo mynyddoedd, neu teithiau yn y ‘gwyllt’. Dim ond y llywbr celc yma sgertiau o'r ochr o’r parc cenedlaethol i drio a ddangos ongl newydd o Gwynedd am ymwelwyr. Dilyn y llwybr 'ma lonydd dawel a lywbr enwir, dros ffermydd, coedydd, a trwy pentrefi bach. Fyddwch chi dringo allt ger y diwedd o’r cylchdaith, ond medru'chi parcio yn agos at yr cyffordd A55 (C12) i dringo yr allt cyntaf, a ffeindio y bonws fel ‘park and grab’ ar ôl, os chi eisiau. Mae'r cylchdaith yn 6 milltir o hyd hefo 20 o ddaeargleciau, felly ddylech chi orffen mewn tua hanner dydd.

Dydy'r llwbr ma yn ‘power trail’. Dwi'm wedi drio a ffeindio spot ar gyfer celc pob 160m. ‘Wnes i drio neud pob clec arbenig, efo amrywiaeth o cuddfan a teipau celc gwhannol (Cofiwch i llwytho i lawr y cartridge Wherigo ar gyfer y ‘Church Micro’ (rhif 17) cyn chi ddecrau!). Fyddwch chi fedru weld Y Garneddau, Dyffryn Ogwen, Afon Menai ac y Stad Penrhyn trwy'r cylchdaith. Medru'chi ffeindio celc lleiol arall y llwybr yn passio hefyd.

Plis gadael fy wybod sut naethoch chi ffeindio y cylchdaith yn eich logiau chi!

Pob lwc a gael hwyl!

    North Gwynedd Circular Cache Trail

When people think of hiking in Gwynedd, they often picture the impressive scenes of Eryri, climbing mountains or undertaking multi day excursions in the ‘wild’, but this cache trail only skirts the edges of the national park and aims to take a different angle. The walk follows quiet country lanes and named trails most of its length, through woodland, farmland, and small villages, with only one hill climb towards the end (you can always park near A55 J12 and do the hill first, you can find the bonus as a park and grab after completing the trail). At 6 miles long and with 20 caches, it shouldn’t take much longer than half a day to complete.

This is by no means a power trail I haven’t squeezed a cache every 0.1 miles and have instead tried to make each cache unique by using a variety of hides and cache types (remember to download the Wherigo cartridge for the Church Micro (No 17) before setting off!). You’ll be encircled by views of the Carneddau, Dyffryn Ogwen, Afon Menai and the Penrhyn Estate throughout the walk. You can always grab a few other local caches this trail passes by.

Please let me know how you get on in your log!

Pob lwc a gael hwyl!

Gobethio glec ‘hawddi-pawddi’ i ddechrau efo. Nid oes beth yn waeth na ddim ffeindio yr un cyntaf…!

This should be an easy-peasy cache to warm up with. There’s nothing worse than not being able to find the first one…!
