(Das Thermometer wurde schon mal mit einem Tauschgegenstand verwechselt worden und weil der, der es mitgenommen hatte, nicht in der Schweiz wohnt und das Thermometer wieder herzubekommen, war ein bisschen kompliziert - aber das ist wieder eine andere Geschichte...)

Vergesst ausser euren Namen und dem Datum nicht die Temparatur in das Logbook zu schreiben! Das Thermometer befindet sich im gleichen Kasten.

Trinkwasser

Unsere Gemeinde ist in zwei Versorgungszonen aufgeteilt. Die untere Zone (Gebiet zwischen Alter Landstrasse und See) wird durch das Reservoir Ghei versorgt (Inhalt: 2'500 m⊃3;, Höhe: 499 m ü. M.). Dieses wird gespiesen mit ca. 65% Seewasser und ca. 35% Quellwasser vom Unteralbis.

Die obere Zone (Alte Landstrasse bis Gemeindegrenze Adliswil) wird durch das Reservoir Kopfholz (Inhalt: 3'015 m⊃3;, Höhe: 580 m ü. M.) versorgt. Dieses wird gespiesen mit ca. 60% Quellwasseranteil von Rothenthurm und ca. 40% Seewasser. Das Seewasser wird im Seewasserwerk Merisbrunnen in Rüschlikon aufbereitet. Das sogenannte "Rothenthurmer Wasser HTRK" wird in der Aufbereitungsanlage Biberbrugg aufbereitet und fliesst über eine 25 km lange Transportleitung ins Reservoir Kopfholz.

Ich protestiere, dass sich unser Klima erwärmt, und werde am 2. Mai 2023 hier ein Diagramm mit den Temparaturen aus den Logs zeigen und dann werde ich in den nächsten Jahren immer am 2. Mai ein neues Diagramm hinzufügen.

Dieser Cache ist relativ einfach zu finden, und gut für Anfänger.

(The thermometer has been mistaken for an object of exchange and because the cacher who took it dosen't live in Switzerland and getting the thermometer back was a bit complicated - but that's another story again...)

Drinking water

Our municipality is divided into two supply zones. The lower zone (area between Alter Landstrasse and the lake) is supplied by the Ghei reservoir (capacity: 2,500 m⊃3;, altitude: 499 m above sea level). This is fed with approx. 65% lake water and approx. 35% spring water from the Unteralbis.

The upper zone (Alte Landstrasse to the municipal boundary of Adliswil) is supplied by the Kopfholz reservoir (capacity: 3,015 m⊃3;, altitude: 580 m above sea level). This is fed with approx. 60% spring water from Rothenthurm and approx. 40% sea water. The lake water is treated in the Merisbrunnen lake water plant in Rüschlikon. The so-called "Rothenthurmer Wasser HTRK" is processed in the Biberbrugg treatment plant and flows through a 25 km long transport line into the Kopfholz reservoir.

This cache is easy to find and very good for beginners.
