Had Prince not insisted on playing the lead ROLE in this breakthrough 1984 film it's hard to say if the building at the posted coordinates would exist today. Certainly the life of Chanhassen's most iconic resident would have been changed to some degree. But I'm sure his undeniable musical talent would have continued to flurish regardless of his playing the staring ROLE in the hit movie Purple Rain.
