Geocache Description:

Cache for first-time geocachers, or those with thousands of finds!

Traditional cache in Holland Heights School Park. Decent SWAG for the kiddos. (SWAG = stuff we all get) Encourage kids to bring something to trade for what they take.

Smart cachers will read the full description of the cache. They've already learned that the cache is in the park, not behind the business on 16th. There are parking coords under the 'waypoints' section of the app, if you aren't sure where to start. You can park in the park lot or the school lot.

Smart cachers will also find out they should take the LONG way round to the cache if it's been rainy, starting north of the tennis courts. The short way was super wet and muddy in the spring and you will learn to read the description next time :)

Terrain rating is 2: This cache is not on a paved trail, but still on flat ground. Lots of undergrowth will be popping up at GZ (ground zero) as summer approaches, but just take some time getting thru it.

Difficulty rating is 1: It should be easy to find, the container is just hidden enough for muggles (non-cachers) hopefully don't discover it. Please re-hide it so it is still hidden, but don't change its location.

The container is an ammo can. There is a Costa Rican 1000 note for first to find. The logbook is in a silicone zip lock. I am trying this out instead of regular ziplocks. Let me know what you think in your log, along with what trades were made.

Tip: Don't try writing a log as soon as you find it, mark as "found" in the app, but toggle the 'draft' button and hit save. Then you can type out a more meaningful log later. Include a picture if you like.
