Geocache Description:


Langs Moordrecht loopt al heel lang de spoorlijn Gouda - Rotterdam. Er was zelfs een stopplaats met station van 1855 tot 1935. De spoorlijn week toen iets af van de huidige spoorlijn. Een stuk weg en een fiets / wandelpad herinneren hier nog aan. Dit pad is de verbinding tussen de Middelweg en de vierde Tochtweg en wordt door de Moordrechtenaren veel gebruikt om een ommetje te maken.
