Cosa hanno a che fare gli austriaci nella terra degli Etruschi? Molto poco dal punto di vista storico ma secondo le fonti storiche, il ponte fu realizzato con il lavoro dei prigionieri austriaci durante la prima guerra mondiale (1915-18). Ancora integro e immerso in un paesaggio dai toni fiabeschi, permette di superare il torrente Caldara in ogni stagione, tappa obbligata per iniziare o concludere l'escursione ad anello lungo il fosso della mola.
Lasciata la macchina nel parcheggio del cimitero nuovo di Cerveteri, si imbocca l'evidente sentiero in direzione NNE che attraversa la campagna circostante e successivamente il fitto bosco. Nel giro di un'ora è possibile raggiungere il ponte.

What do the Austrians have to do in Etruscan land?
