This cache is for my nephews, Jack and Joe. They will look after it as it is near their family home.

Already this year we've made two big mistakes with Jack & Joe, my twin nephews. The first was buying them Mariokart for Nintendo Switch as you can’t get them off it now. Second was letting them choose what they wanted to do for their 4th birthdays.
Their first request was two birthday cakes - Jack wanted a red one and Joe wanted a green one, their favourite colours. Secondly they wanted a family fancy dress party. Reluctantly we agreed and all raced to buy our outfits in time.
Joe insisted that I came dressed up as a dinosaur. I bought a costume online and rocked up looking pretty roar-some. I looked more friendly than scary but I was happy as both boys said Uncle David looked the best.
The boy's Dad went in a complete gorilla costume which the boys found hilarious. He even had banana skins as props. He couldn’t see anything though and kept bumping into things, and failed miserably at pin the tail on the donkey!
Grandad went as Toad, from my nephews’ favourite book Frog & Toad. Quite fitting as he is rather grumpy like an old toad, although there wasn’t much room in the costume and when he bent down to pick up a coin he split his trousers open!
My sister went as a turtle. She is very creative and even made a papermache shell. Joe thought she looked more like a dragon and he asked if his mum could breathe fire to light the birthday cakes!
Granny decided to come as a princess, a bit of a cop-out but that’s all she would agree to wearing. She’s not one for fancy dress and I’m amazed she dressed up at all. She’s a peach for giving it a go though!
And finally Jack and Joe. Well their Dad is a plumber so the boys wanted to dress up like their Dad for the day. Mum made their costumes in their favourite colours. Their final wish was that we all have a race around the garden, I won even though I was carting Jack around on my shoulders. The boys had a brilliant day, I can only imagine what the neighbours must’ve thought!
