When I stumbled on this location, my first thought was the cache needs to have something to do with reflections (for obvious reasons). Initially, I was going to do an oodle with a penny glued on top hidden somewhere on the ground (get it, penny for your thoughts, or reflections? OK, maybe that’s a stretch). Anyway, there really wasn’t a good place to make that hide work (too many weeds and undergrowth), so I had to come up with something else.
So I thought, maybe something a little more direct. I’d found a cache created by wallaska at the airport that gave me the idea, so I stole it (imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right; and isn’t imitation just another form of reflection, so it definitely fits the theme). I’m sure others have done something like this, but wallaska’s was the first one I’d seen, so I will give him the credit!
This is really just a park & grab, but the coordinates are intentionally off a bit, I did not want to make it too easy. However, if you’ve read this description and the cache name, you should find it without too much trouble. You will not need any TOTT to retrieve the cache, don’t make it harder than it is.
This cache should be available in the winter, depending on how much snow we get and how much of a berm there is on the roadside. Depending on the time of day this area can be busy with people coming and going, so be aware and be stealthy as appropriate. And please put the cache back the way you found it so the next cacher can have their own fun in finding it.
