Green Man

This geocache is in honour of GREEN, the colour between blue and yellow on the visible spectrum. It is evoked by light which has a dominant wavelength of roughly 495–570 nm.

You can have green fingers, be green with envy, green around the gills, or just plain green. You can give something or someone the green light, wear the green willow, be as sure as God made little green apples. You can even go green.

Green is: dragons; quaint village recreation areas; the smooth area where you're not meant to use a fairway wood; a backstage relaxation room for actors; the serpent in the garden;  mondegreens; frogs; leprechauns; aliens; ogres; Greensleeves; incredible hulks; shamrocks; absinthe; lunar cheese.

Green is: the forest and the meadow;  the cactus in the desert;  the moss and lichen on rock;  the saltbush on the sand dune;  the  grass forcing its way through cracks in the path; the weeds overgrowing the rubbish tip.
