Geocache Description:

Five geocachers (A, B, C, D, E) are trying to organize an expedition to the Lakes of Bella Terra to find CoolTurtleGamer’s many caches. They decide to go sometime during the first five days of next month. Some geocachers could go on one day but not another. The following was observed:

  1. Three geocachers could go only on day 1.
  2. The most common day they could go was on day 2.
  3. The only common day for C and E was on day 3.
  4. The only common day for A, B and E was on day 4
  5. B and C could go on day 5 but when D joined them, they had to change to day 2, the only common day for all three.
  6. One of the geocachers could go all on all five days (1-5). Another one could only go on four of the days. One could only go on three days. Another could only go on two days. And finally, another could only go on one day.

PART 1: What day(s) (1-5) could each geocacher (A-E) could go to New Z Land?

PART 2: Finding the puzzle coordinates.

  1. For each geocacher, sum the days he could geocache. For example, the sum of the days for the geocacher able to go all five days would be 1+2+3+4+5=15.The geocacher that could only go one day would have a single number.
  2. To get the unknown decimal minutes solve the math operations below using the sum of days for geocachers A, B, C, D and E.

N 29 41. (A-D)(B-A-E)(C-A-D)                 W 95 47. (E-A)(B-E)(B-C+D)

AWESOME COOLTURTLE GAMER SOLVED A VERY HARD PUZZLE IN 20 MINUTES FOR FTF!

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[Create a 5x5 possibility grid: GCs A-E x Day 1-5. 1. 4 GCs cannot go on Day 4 because there would be no GC that could only go one day.]
