We hope you enjoy the beauty of this park located in the Central Region. Bowman Lake was established in the 1960’s containing campsite, a beach, picnic tables, a boat launch and trails on 653 acres making it one of the largest campgrounds in Central New York. Some of the trails can be muddy after a rain and be sure to use plenty of bug spray to protect you from ticks, black flies and other insects. Cell phone service can be spotty so be sure to load data off line or use a GPS. A short hike on the FLT with possible muddy trails if after rain, beware of down branches. Stage 1 is not far off the trail. Please place cache and stage as found so others can enjoy the fun. Be sure to have appropriate foot wear, long pants.
