No stamp here, just a smile for your enjoyment.
We hope you enjoy the beauty of this park located in the Central Region. Bowman Lake
was established in the 1960’s containing campsite, a beach, picnic tables, a boat launch and trails on 653
acres making it one of the largest campgrounds in Central New York. Some of the trails can be muddy
after a rain and be sure to use plenty of bug spray to protect you from ticks, black flies and other insects.
Cell phone service can be spotty so be sure to load data off line or use a GPS. Cache is near the FLT
beware of downed branches and muddy trail especially after rain. You will need to cross a creek so be
sure to have appropriate foot wear and long pants. Please place cache as found so others can enjoy the
fun. Please replace the cache as you found it so others can enjoy the fun.
