Geocache Description:

From MM6 circle around the pond to reach the black metal gate and cross the road and small car park to a wooden gate leading to a public footpath by some allotments. Turn right and follow this path. At this point you could include another cache (GC7N5E5 , AG 18 - Owzat, which is not part of the MM series). Continue along the public footpath until it forks either side of a post and wire fence. Take the right fork along a row of very tall poplar trees.

You are looking for a Lock & Lock containing a logbook and swappable. You will need to bring a pen. Make a note of the letter within as the intention is that eventually there will be a bonus cache, once the loop is completed.

As a striking evergreen, with attractive red berries, Holly has long been used at Christmas to decorate. It has been used as a symbol for fertility as well as a charm to protect against evil. It was considered unlucky to cut down a Holly tree. To wildlife it is a valuable plant too. It's dense cover provides protection and nesting opportunities, as well as the berries being a vital food source in winter to birds such as Redwing, Fieldfare and Mistle Thrush. The flowers provide nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinating insects. The leaves are eaten by caterpillars of the Holly Blue butterfly, along with those of various moths.
