A couple of weeks ago, I came out to the "Strike Zone" cache (GC2TD43) and we were disappointed that we could not read the codes for The Dugout. The 2 other caches (Rounding Third Base and Practice Swing) have been archived making it very difficult to find the final in the series, "The Dugout" (GC2TD5X).
I contacted the CO's but they did not respond. Contacted a prior finder who gave me the coords for the 2 archived caches and the required codes for A, B, C and D. Today I am placing new caches where the 2 archived caches used to be. I could not find the containers of the archived caches; I don't know if they were ever picked up by the CO's.
I delayed placing these caches due to rain.......decided whatever the weather, today was the day to get these 2 caches places. Well, I was soaked by the time I got to this first cache! Ugh! I spent time looking in the area trying to find the old container. Finally decided to just go ahead and place the one I had brought with me. The intent is not exactly how the cache came out, but keep in mind I was soaked and just wanted to get it placed.
There is an "item" hanging in the area. This "item" was to hold the cache in the top of the "item" but that did not work out, so the "item" points (down) to the container. In the container, you will find the code for 2 more numbers for "The Dugout"!
I welcome any updated coords that any cacher wants to provide; I was soaked and feel that I obtained the coords quickly!
