A couple of weeks ago, I came out to the "Strike Zone" cache (GC2TD43) and was disappointed the 2 other caches (Rounding Third Base and Practice Swing) had been archived making it very difficult to find the final in the series, "The Dugout" (GC2TD5X).
I contacted the CO's but they did not respond. Contacted a prior finder who gave me the coords for the 2 archived caches and the required codes for A, B, C and D. Today I am placing new caches where the 2 archived caches used to be. I could not find the containers of the archived caches; I don't know if they were ever picked up by the CO's.
I delayed placing these caches due to rain.......decided whatever the weather, today was the day to get these 2 caches places. Well, I was soaked by the time I got to these caches! I spent time looking in the area trying to find the old container but could not find any container. So I placed the one I brought with me.
My geospouse helped to create an "item" that represents 3rd base! The container is next to the base.
In the container, you will find the code for 2 more numbers for "The Dugout"!
