Box Hill Station (1985)

Box Hill Station (1885)

Box Hill Station Model (1885)
Box Hill Railway Station is located on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines in Victoria, Australia. The station opened on 1 December 1885 and was rebuilt as a below-ground station in 1995. The original station still exists in model form at the Box Hill miniature railway. The new station has an unused platform 4, whose entrance ramp is now blocked off by a fast food outlet.
I bought my first model train set in the same street as GZ. Located at 5 Carrington Road was “The Engine Shed” - sadly long gone and now a Chinese restaurant.
