This cache is hidden on a trail in the Eaglewood Neighborhood. Be considerate of residents if you attempt to park in the neighborhood, or you can park at the nearby Walmart.
Bring a pen/pencil with you to sign the log in this micro container. The coordinates should land you at the entrance to the tunnel beneath the road.
After three years living in Alaska, I've only hidden one geocache in the state (at the Eagle River VFW) and figured now's the time to hide more since I recently learned that I'll be staying in Alaska for the long haul. I figure the best place to begin is on the local trails that I've been using regularly for exercise and dog walks.
There once was a cache at the other end of this tunnel by another local geocacher, but that cache seems to have been archived, so this cache is a fresh new offering to keep the area interesting for us geocaching types. Happy Caching!!!
