This cache is on private property, the winery, with the permission of John Armstrong, the manager. Park in the lot. It is an enjoyable 500' walk across a meadow, through the vineyard and down to the pond. Please stay on the wide path between the vineyards, and do not walk between the rows of vines.
Use your geosense, the cache is a camoed pill bottle. BYOP Please replace exactly as found, so that the cache remains dry and in good shape for others to find.
The old Tennessee Central RR line runs adjacent to the winery. The Tennesse Central Railway Museum used to run excursions up to the winery from Nashville, but they have been discontinued due to deterioration of the track. You may see a freight train pass by.
