Geocache Description:

What do you call a gate that's permanently locked and overgrown? A fence, I suppose.

This cache is part of a new series in the streets near Stormont Estate. We often go to Stormont with our boys - it's a great open space on our doorstep - and since we can't hide caches there, we thought the next best thing would be to give some caching love to the area around and about.

The cache is at the gates of what (I think) used to be the entrance to Cabin Hill, a former gentleman's residence which was then bought by Campbell College school before being closed. The gates now lead to nowhere, as the area behind them has been turned into a new property development, Lacefield. You don't need to enter the development to get the cache.

The cache is a magnetic micro.
