Coffee Caper Cacher (CCC) aka Debra -is a true Geocacher! Debra has been geocaching casually for over 20 years. She would go geocaching with friends using their GPS devices and the GPS units in the MN State Parks and Three Rivers Parks. She didn’t start logging caches until 2018--even before she had a GPS-enabled device! Debra would view the cache location on her computer, note the landforms and surrounding area then go out and find it. Wow! That’s dedication and a keen geocaching eye!
Then a couple of months ago, a whole new world opened up when Debra was gifted a Premium Geocaching Membership from an unknown cacher from northern Wisconsin, who really loved her cache, The Corner of the Hometown--GC821QK. Next, a gift iPhone from her brother, changed up the game to many more caching possibilities.
Debra loves to attend Geocaching events, such as the International Film Festival, MNGCA events, CITOs, Ugly Sweater Parties, Eerie Pennsylvania Woods Scavenger Hunt, Halloween Hoopla and Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament where she has won a couple of trophies and prizes. Debra's International Pickle Day Party was legendary!
Debra is also the co-conspirator behind the Bloomington Blue Switch Day Event held in May.
This tribute cache is located in a part of Bloomington that is wonderful, unique, and a hidden gem, just like Coffee Caper Cacher aka Debra. Congratulations on your 1,000th find. We know there will be many more!
