San Diego County is one of the best areas in the country to ride bicycles. Our pleasant year-round climate, varied terrain, and hundreds of miles of bike lanes, paths and trails contribute to an ideal biking environment. To profile some of these bike paths, this geocache series was developed. The selected bike paths are completely separate right-of-ways for the exclusive use of non-motorized travel so pull out those bikes for a healthy, “green”, and fun way to geocache.
The 4th in the series is Mast Park Trail – 2 miles of paved trails for walkers, joggers and cyclists that run from Carlton Hills Blvd. on the west to Cuyamaca Street on the east. The cache is just off the path residing in one of the many trees lining the route.
There is a $2 bill for the FTF.
