One of our favorite beaches to visit for Shells and Captain Geo to wander and play. The Horses on the tour walk down from the north and turn around before reaching this access. Walking south on beach you soon reach the long row of housing that has slowly built up, mostly in the last few years. Fishing is good here at times and at other times you can find yourself mostly alone on a very nice beach. Dogs are not permitted on the beach but are ok at the cache GZ.
Park your Car and you will find a cache not far from where the trail leads down to the beach. Look south of the trailhead to the beach and you will find an opening you can step into and see the cache. No need to go far into the brush to find the cache, If you do the Florida Vampire Skeeters might just drain you before you can retreat. Have fun here and take a Smiley home with you.
