This event is an opportunity for geocachers to catch up in a lesser known area, Ingliston Gorge which is situated within Werribee Gorge State Park. Here you will find a circuit hike through Ingliston Gorge and Sloss’s Gully which starts and ends at the Ingliston Gorge car park. It is a beautiful area to visit.
There are two trails to reach the event. Scenic route via Sloss’s Gully Track or for more direct access via the trail marker at the start of the ‘runway’ leading to the event then veering onto Ingliston Gorge Track.
Please be prepared with suitable clothing, footwear, drinks, food and a first aid kit.
Dogs/horses are not permitted in this park.
At the conclusion of the event we will be completing the remainder of the track/loop and doing a maintenance run on our caches in the area. You are most welcome to join us. Grade 3 hike. DM if you have any questions.
