This is a series of 40 caches we have placed on the North Country Trail. The North Country Trail is 4600 miles long, covers 7 states including both upper and lower Michigan, begins in New York and ends in North Dakota.
These 40 caches will begin a short way down the trail from the Naomikong Overlook and head west out to M-123. Trail conditions can get buggy and muddy at different points and seasons so be prepared for these things. Ticks are plentiful in the woods in the UP so be sure to use a good tick spray and wear appropriate hiking gear. Terrain differs from cache to cache. We have put these all off the ground to keep them winter friendly.
These caches are not too far off the trail and are not meant to be hard. Enjoy and happy hiking!
