Tuesday, June 7, 6:30pm - 7:30pm, Kincaid Park
“Mālama i ka ‘āina” (Keeping the land clean)
Aloha from Hawaii! Please join CacheAngel+ and I for some fresh Alaskan air and an evening CITO hosted at Kincaid Park. A great time to keep the park clean while the snow is away.
We'll supply the trash bags - you bring gloves, boots, and grabber, etc. as we clean-up around the Kincaid Chalet and its parking lot. We will start by checking in and log signing at 6:30 pm and clean until 7:15 pm then start to head back to pile up the trash and take a group photo. We will leave this park cleaner than when we arrived. This is a huge park with a lot of ground to cover! You can pick up your bag and drive to a different part of the park to clean, or start walking from our parking spot to the trails nearby.
Though not required to attend or log the event, I would appreciate anyone taking photos/selfies while picking up trash and posting them in the event logs.
Please take your own personal safety seriously. In the past, smoke bombs and other potentially explosive and incendiary devices have been found in the park. If you happen to come across anything that looks suspicious or dangerous, please do not touch or pick it up. Take note of its location and we will report it to the appropriate people.
State and Local covid guidelines, if any, are in effect.
Hope to see you there!
