An evening you DONUT want to miss!!
Is your belly rumbling at the thought of attending a geocaching event on a day that promotes eatting donuts? I wouldn’t be surprised if it was, as most of us enjoy sinking our chompers into this scrumptious food. This day is mainly celebrated in the United States, on the first Friday of June every year. It was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor the young women who served donuts to soldiers during World War 1.
There’s something about that delicious deep-fried treat that brings a smile to everyone’s face so come along to catch up with friends and celebrate this wonderful treat......and my first event :)
