Bunbury’s lighthouse is relatively new, but its chequered exterior makes it a favourite with photographers. You can see the lighthouse from most places in Bunbury. It stands 25 metres tall and can be seen 27 kilometres out to sea.
There have been multiple styles and alterations to the previous lighthouses that were used in Bunbury to guide the ships safely into Koombana Bay. The first lighthouse was in the form of a beacon placed on a keg at a point close to the current lighthouse to alert ship
This Letterbox Cache is in honour of Lighthouses all over Australia and all over the world.
Diadem and TaurusSix have had the privilege of visiting lots of Lighthouses around Australia and around the world.
Inside this Letterbox cache are two self inking stamps lots of Stickers and coloured pens.

Our favourite Lighthouse:
- Australia - Cape Wickham -King island - Tasmania - this is the tallest Lighthouse in the Southern Hemispere, it is in such a spectacular location. We had such a memorable holiday on King island and visiting this Lighthouse and surrounds stands out in our minds.
- The World -Cape of Good Hope, the South West tip of South Africa - this whole area was amazing. it was the view from the Lighthouse that was spectacular.
