Geocache Description:

This mystery cache is the bonus for The Mayors of St. Louis Adventure Lab. To obtain the final coordinates, you first will need to complete the Adventure Lab. Please do not search for the cache at the posted coordinates as it is not located there.

You can find the final at N38 41.ABC W090 14.DEB.

Please note that this is a gadget cache.  Everything you need to open the container is already there.  Please do not damage the container or the surrounding area.

Permission has been granted by the Event and Volunteer Coordinator of Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum.  Special thanks to L Frank for his efforts as liaison between us geocachers and the cemetery personnel.  His dedication continues to result in many amazing geocaches and adventure labs in this beautiful cemetery.

If you have never been to Bellefontaine Cemetery before, please note that there are some rules and etiquette to follow during your visit.  You are encouraged to take your time exploring the cemetery and experiencing the peace here.  Restrooms are available at the entrance to the grounds.

We ask you to please observe the cemetery etiquette guidelines that Bellefontaine Cemetery has given us.

  • This is an active cemetery; avoid disturbing a gravesite or chapel service and family members that are visiting their loved ones.
  • Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Pets are welcomed but must be on a leash.
  • Firearms are prohibited with the exception of the Military Honor Guard and re-enactors.
  • Visitors and lot owners are requested to leave comments and inquiries at the cemetery office.
  • Soliciting within the cemetery is prohibited.
  • Groups of 10 or more must register at the cemetery office before proceeding onto the grounds.
  • Keep conversation volumes low. Be respectful. Other people in the cemetery may be upset and want a tranquil place in which to mourn and to be alone in peace.
  • Keep contact to gravestones to a minimum. Do not sit on any monuments. They are meaningful to the families who placed them there. Rubbings are prohibited.
  • Do not take photographs of other people or funeral activities in the cemetery. Restrict your photography to scenes of landscape, nature, and architectural elements.
  • Use common sense when walking off the roadways. Walk between the headstones and do not stand on a burial place.
  • Please do not park on a road with a white line at any time.  This is the route for various tours in the cemetery and must be kept clear.
  • Please observe and obey all traffic signs within the cemetery grounds.  Do not speed.
  • The cemetery hours are 8 am to 4 pm every day. If you do not leave the cemetery by 4 pm, the gates will be locked and you will have to call the security number on the gate and have security let you out. Please do not let this happen.
