Hello! And welcome to CASH Cache (No.3).
Please don't get too excited by the name. There is no money to be found inside the container. In this instance, CASH stands for Concealed Around St Helier. And that's exactly what I intend to do. Bit by bit I hope to create a series of geocaches that encircles the whole of St Helier.
At this location you'll find a monument erected by the Foresters of Jersey to commemorate the heroism of the crew of the SS Normandy who sadly lost their lives in the early morning of March 17 when their vessel sank following a collision in the English Channel just off the coast of Jersey.
While you're here, look out too for the plaque commemorating 'The Forgotten Army' - 54 islanders who served in the Burma Campaign 1941-1945, which can also be found nearby.
