The term "Man's Best Friend" is a common phrase that is used to describe the human-domestic dog relationship. It is an expression that has been stated millions of times and reflects the unique bond between humans and dogs around the world. The phrase, "Man's Best Friend", was first used by Fredric the Great (King of Russia 1770-1786) as he referred to his Greyhounds as his best friends. Dogs are friendly, they love human companionship and they are very loyal. Who else waits for you by the door, smiling, with beaming eyes, tail wagging, ready to shower you with kisses and makes you forget about your everyday stresses.
NHFarmer (Rob) had a dog named Eli, a German Shepherd. who passed away recently. The COs of this cache have cached with NHFarmer and Eli many many times. He was an unbelivable and highly trained dog and a lot of fun to be around and provided us with many laughs and memories. Cashing without him just won't be the same. He is missed and, Rob, we are sorry for your loss. Maybe a "Little Eli" is in your future and we can't wait to cache with him.
Post pictures of you with "Your Best Friend".
