This cache will introduce you to Woody's Woods from its "Nesley Entrance," along Harmonyville Road.
Woody's Woods is a hiking and recreational area of South Coventry Township. Geocaching is allowed. HOWEVER THE AREA IS CLOSED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND GEOCACHERS DURING ARCHERY SEASON, September through January each season. Check the annual notice for exact dates. The 2021-22 is posted in the Gallery. WOODY'S WOODS IS OPEN ON SUNDAYS, also for geocachers, DURING ARCHERY SEASON, because no hunting is allowed on Sundays. Please adhere to this for your own safety and for the preservation of the game.
Hiking begins with the ORANGE TRAIL. But wait a minute! There is no cache at the posted coordinates! The posted coordinates put you right in the parking lot. That won't do! I stopped to ask some locals if they knew where the cache is. They told there are THREE things to consider:
1) You just can't build any VELOCITIES going up that hill.
2) You better wear SUNBLOCK, especially if you burn easily.
3) But when you get to the top, you'll have a GALA of a time.
So I sat down to ponder these 3 things: VELOCITIES, SUNBLOCK, and GALA. How are these 3 words going to get me to the geocache? You'll have to help me figure it out.
